After a couple of weeks of battling three blank e-pages to post up a review on The 33rd Annual Tribute To The Reggae Legends, it was honorary in having been able to witness and record such an epic event as The WorldBeat Center's Tribute To The Reggae Legends for 2014!!! After finishing a weekend inclusive of reggae-rock and reggae/hip-hop music, it was quite certain roots Reggae music was going to steal my heart! Indeed, the people who make all of that possible made that decision easy for me that Monday afterward! There is No Comparison pertaining to the art, history, and culture of roots reggae music! Just noticing the dedication, family feel, and connection makes anyone realize that in order to appreciate roots Reggae music, one must appreciate its art, history, culture, and people! Though reggae music has influenced other genres as well, there is nothing that can compare to honoring the Legends who have made such a significant contribution to Reggae, and to be able to record such moments in a tribute is one of the best highlights of my writing career!
