Happy Fall 2013

Wow, what a Fall Season in the Northern Hemisphere--more specifically, in North America! Some of our temperatures are Brrr-cold, and some are dry and hot--the latter one being me in America's Finest City! For the most part, our global weather is unique in that most of the Pacific and Far-East Pacific Region have had pretty intense typhoons, and increased seismic activity. Also, volcanoes have been firing more, and the latest pyro-eruption occurred just days ago! Indeed, Mother Earth is showing signs of change, as is our Sun in its New Cycle of Its Solar Maximus! Its poles are shifting, and perhaps we are too at a slow, but steady pace! There has been increased space activity, including fireballs and gamma ray bursts, and Comet ISON making its way- soon to travel past our Sun, and leaving some debris for us too! Thus, we shall inherit more space rocks! Globally, we appear to be pacing ourselves economically- while also facing some intense natural disasters, and weather, and astrologers are busy this season... or, they should be by people in need to know what is going on with these weird occurrences- emotionally, mentally, planetary, and in love relationships!

The above passage is my current know-how on topics I have been following all year which largely interest me! The current time is Fall Season, and the end of October. The U.S.A. is about to celebrate Halloween, and some in the U.S.A. will celebrate Dia de Los Muertos in early November! Yours truly will be celebrating her 33rd birthday in early November, as well, and then, consumers (including me,) will prepare for Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday rushes-- where we will continue to spend money we don't have! Ha-ha--that's meant to be a joke, but considering how much that statement may be true, some of us may want to consider donating help, or assistance to special charities, or things which fulfill our soul and well-being--rather than our pockets, or closets!

With-all-that-said, Happy Halloween to the U.S.A., as well as Veteran's Day; may we continue to have a brisk Fall Season in the Northern Hemisphere, and a Happy Springtime to those in the Southern Hemisphere, which hopefully won't be drenched by rain and mud, or fire! Happy Days, and if we can't make all of our days happy, at least we can force a smile more often!

Life Experience

     

     Contemplating existence and presence- living reality, fantasy, agendas, I sit and think about Life, theories, and my personal observations. I studied economics, politics, urban planning, child development, but mostly, culture, and people. It's amazing how we've grown- we as humanity, and, how we have built technology- far as our eyes can see! After reviewing different theories floating around via social networks, and journalistic reads, I conclude we have learned so much, and we are still learning- we are still testing our boundaries!

     One topic of interest is our spirituality. I observe conservative values, New Age, and Skepticism. New Age theory baffles me, however! So many people are hopeful on spirituality based on ancient techniques mixed with new theory. For example, belief in the moment of "Now," and No Other Presence! Good anti-anxiety technique, but not really good for reality and logic! Although Believers of certain religions believe in deep meditation, they appear to un-examine the actual "here and now," or, the constant reality we face each day. Some believe Life on Earth is merely an illusion that we can change if we just, "wake up!" Ha! Please direct me to the nearest logical station!

     I have read so many different perspectives on the meaning of Life, and if I can just reach a few on this topic, it would be to stay in reality- fix it if it needs fixing, appreciate it if it's easy, and always rest when you need to do so! We are built with a pumping system that regulates our bloodstream, so use it to stay active, relax, and give- for, in our heart, we find life and brotherhood. We are connected through this organ- not only to our humanity, but through other life-forms carrying the same type of organ. Also, we have an unique brain- a mechanism which controls so much, and leases us our superiority! We are superior because not only can we think and feel, but we can calculate, imagine, express, react, contemplate, grow, and execute decision-making efforts. Indeed, we are unique in our Presence, but more so, we are unique in our feelings and expressing the numerous ways we can not only use our brain and heart, but bodies and connection. Yes, perhaps animals can do this too, but they cannot analyze it the way we humans do, and until such time occurs where other species resort to the same measures humans do, we have an obligation to not only act on our superiority, but to use it in a way which renders the survival of our species, and the lessons of our ancestors! We are here to experience and rationalize, and, love and persist... for, what is existence, but merely a Life Experience! One which is so fragile and meaningful that it doesn't matter whether we are wrong, or right, but whether we are free-minded, or captive!

Back To Writing

After some much-needed time off, I am back to writing! As an observer, I needed some time to kick back, relax, and let time pass! I did just that--to the best of my abilities with my very own family! Each day is a day to shine, though--despite the clouds! So, I'm doing just that, and I am pleased to announce my next project in writing: LiL Miss O. A quirky little read in the realm of femininism by yours truly, sociologist, "sandieganliz." Stay tuned for more details!

In the meantime, with regards to my writing career, I recently read a passage on the licensing needs of writers, whom can be fined for not only receiving 1099s, but conducting a home-based business. Of course, it is a law (set by various states in different times) for the government to get their hands on the cookie jar. No worries, I shall write for free -(ish)... in my home (and other areas)... based on observations I see in real life, in text, and in media, politics, or other tough spot deemed threatening to the basic values of human life!
