Categorization

In an advanced society of statistics, it is interesting to come across various categories of performance.  Due to my enduring fascination with sociology, dealing with stats and categorization almost comes naturally when reading, observing, or critiquing groups of people. It is not that I want to judge people as much as I am measuring their path to success and independence, accordingly. After all, that is what I studied in an American University.

Although I have been taking pathways to try and understand groups of people according to varying attributions, I have concluded that there is so much diversity floating around, that it is nearly impossible to categorize ALL living things. To start, biology appears to be the starter level, while sexuality may be the most elusive. And yet, throughout all this research, it appears no one can come up with a conclusion on how groups of people should function, act, and live, accordingly.

The so-called system does a fine job in not only using military and first responders to assess various situations, but in reaching various institutions regarding societal living. In my current job helping disabled adults, a recent seminar on cultural diversity explained that all people in the U.S. should be respected despite biology, culture, gender, family, age, race, nationality, language and viewpoints, or rigid beliefs. Yet, the same organization which categorizes people according to their ability, or disability also does not want to judge, or stereotype people according to those traits just listed.

In a way, societies are made to uphold not only these categorizations, but prejudices. Sure, the information above, which pertains to interacting with a person who has a disability, is useful in determining what type of treatment a client, or patient may need in a field which assists said persons. Such said person may lack communication skills, health needs, or even behavioral management, which can and is attributed to varying factors, such as some of the ones already listed: biology, race, gender, age, etc.

In my trying to figure out how societies work and produce, and what most people might believe in, it is interesting to see the different levels of playing fields. Of course biology, age, disability, language, and even customs might have an effect on how certain individuals are treated by groups of people. And, it is great that the U.S. has laws to protect people from being discriminated, or possibly even harmed. However, how is it that majorities still pick on those from a socio-economic, cultural, religious, or even racial background? How is it that the beliefs of certain people, or that person's criteria to gain acceptance and tolerance developed? These questions have also been part of my studies and observations to attest to how cultural conditioning and childhood development may lead to such prejudices and intolerance.

My only conclusion at this time is that most of us tend to be hypocrites! Most of us will spout our tolerance and acceptance for all people, or even all living things; yet, we will go back to daily habits that contradict what we say, or represent! When we see a situation where a person, animal, or environmental factor is being harmed or harassed, most of us will simply ignore the situation instead of jumping with both feet in and becoming a savior of some sort!

It is not that most of us want to mind our own business, or were brought up to put self and family first, it is that exposure to various environments, people and situations may have been limited. It is that family traditions have dictated how we act and respond to others, and it is also socio-economic, childhood, environmental, nutritional, and even biological factors. We all differ, and I have no idea why some advanced societal systems want to categorize each and every group of people to the point of cultural assimilation.

TRUMP the Market

The world was shocked to hear the news that Donald J. Trump won the presidency of the United States. How is that possible when Hillary Clinton was so clearly qualified to run for it, and was nearly guaranteed the office of it? At least that's what the majority of people thought as displayed by the popular vote.

The truth of the matter is, no one really knows what they are going to get in politics. People say one thing and mean another. People expect one thing, and then get something completely different. This is not something new! In fact, some might even welcome such occurrences.

A thin line lies between that of humanity and that of societies. To start, humanity equates to the totality of all of us human beings - no matter what race, creed, age, etc. Society, on the other hand, often dictates what is rule of law and order of civilization. It is fixed, whereas humanity is random, unique and sometimes, (if not all of the time) at the mercy of nature.

Part of the greatness of the U.S. is our unity as a country. When duty calls, many answer! The US takes pride in its ability to act, evaluate, and assess situations. Indeed, there is plenty to be proud of as an American because in the U.S., we come to be known as great collaborators, influencers, and leaders. The U.S. has a reputation of being a great nation, as we are one of the top leaders in the world, contributing to technology and sustainable ways of living.

Now, whether the U.S. strongly impedes on other countries, or not, is a different matter. Some may refer to us as bullies, but that is because we have some of the most aggressive leaders in the world who strongly believe in freedom and democracy. Sure, we might just want to showcase our way of living and why other countries should adopt it, but that is because we have a strong sense of pride in development. Personally, I believe it is the job of each world leader to decide what is best for their own individual country based upon the needs of their own people and land, unless such decisions are deemed extremely harmful.

While on the topic of world leaders, the real question is, will Trump make a great one?  Honestly, only time will tell. Although many people online have shown that they disagree with his biased opinions, reports have been surfacing that some of his ideas might be good for the U.S. - perhaps with the exception of his overbearing nationalism. Maybe for trade, his sense of nationalism is good, but for worldly relations, it might be bad.

Some people on social media have also displayed their sense of nationalism, particularly with the concerns of global terrorism, as well as global economic development. One of the main issues for the U.S. has been the opportunity of jobs versus global trade pacts. Domestic laborers need to work in order to compete in what is now considered a global market - particularly if they can no longer rely on shares of stock which do not promise guaranteed outcomes, as seen in the 2008 housing market crisis. The global market needs consumerism, usually found in emerging markets, but what about post-industrial societies? Is there a finite amount in which consumerism can reach as far as national growth per society? After all, some consumerism is found in various kinds of objects which may cause unnecessary hoarding, as well as unfit ways-of-living. Will it ever stop?

The thing about President-elect Trump is that he is all about business. He may fold to how businesses react to his policies, but that is because he is a businessman. His arrogance may have some businesses kissing ass for political favors too, but at least it is not toward a politician already known to simply throw favors and taxes, while also not properly regulating the way taxes are used. Hmm, maybe all recent U.S. presidents simply pose favors for favorites, versus actual, sustainable options. Perhaps it is embedded in American society.

In the U.S. political arena, it really is EAT, or be eaten. For the most part, businesses in the U.S. will not be threatened because the nation has a majority of republicans in the House, Senate, and Office of Presidency. However, any reckless maneuvers may hurt the people and taxpayers. If Trump holds his sense of nationalism, however, to benefit ALL Americans, then the U.S. economy may experience considerable growth. If not, well then, we will just be normal competitors in an ever-growing, but possibly unsustainable global market. After all, banks have cheated people, and it may only be a matter of time before supply exceeds a diminishing demand. Usually business does not work that way, though, seeing how many people flock to the first show of opportunity.

Perhaps then, this election is about morals and values. Has the whole world finally realized that humanity needs to make more conscious decisions if we are to sustain life and the planet? Sure, there are just too many reports which contradict each other on such issues as climate change, productivity, and political boundaries. Humanity, however is at a level of making more conscientious decisions - particularly now that we are more connected and aware of our surroundings.

Life may be different online than it is in the real world, but politics happen every day in the form of monetary transactions, consumerist decisions, and communal relations. On the global scale, the U.S. should come to terms with alternative methods of living and sustainability, as well as foreign relations. Although Trump has the ability to recognize progress made in the world over certain issues, it only takes a few bad decisions to ruin everything.

I guess that is just politics!

We The People

Courtesy of U.S. Government
We the people, in order to form a more Perfect Union...

The Preamble to the U.S. Constitution has so much meaning and so much promise. Of course, the text within the entire Constitution is nothing if it is not enforced; just how laws are nothing without enforcement, either.

Independence from England and The Constitution of the U.S. - in order to develop an outstanding nation built on justice, liberty, equality, and a fair government - is a much celebrated history. The U.S. is truly a wondrous, yet solid system that at times FAILS, but is quick to act JUSTLY.

Indeed, this great country is a complex, but strong system designed to instill the rights of its citizens to privacy, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Although the main goals of our nation could be to have a strong defense system, a fair and just legal system, and the ability to care and protect citizens, while also designating rules and guidelines, it is also fair to say that the U.S. wishes all of its citizens freedom. The freedom to live, to buy property, to establish rights, to be seen and heard, and not be denied help when needed.

Sure, in recent times, leaders in our government and government systems may have failed some of us. Protests are taking place which challenge the local government enforcement policy, and we are remembering times when help was denied during an immense natural disaster!

Luckily, we as a conscious species, can move beyond our hurtful past and grow into something NEW. And, new is usually beautiful! At times, it may be a bit scary because some, if not most of us have no idea what will prevail, but we must keep moving on if we are to obtain any kind of progress.

With new ideas comes progress, and with progress comes innovations. We are currently in a time where technology is connecting us faster than ever and we are in touch with more people, cultures, and societies. We are able to share events, footage, and opinions on subjects which matter most. We are also contributing to a great new wave of energy - whether it be in the form of renewable, alternative, or enlightening form.

Although billions of us could be striving to meet with the latest developments and most current events, we must not forget that there are still those who are somewhat, left behind! And, although everyone who is capable of catching up should do so, sometimes, we must lend a hand and help those who might not be quick to do so.

Marching in the streets for equality is no crime. It is only a crime when either side becomes violent. And, although gathering in groups to showcase a cause is admirable, we, in the U.S. should do more to ensure equal rights and opportunity, particularly towards those who may not know any better.

Every society will have its issues and every culture will have their traditions. What matters most is groups connecting to not only bring about an effective cause, but to unite in progressing as a species in whatever peaceful manner works. This could be in numerous ways and is not limited - unless it harms, impedes, discriminates, or disrepects another.

Although traditionalists may want to protect what is lawfully theirs to declare and hold, and some may even hold high opinions on the definition of liberties, opportunities, and freedom, it is important to remember that we are individual nations of one planet. With communications travelling at imminent speeds, we are more aware of one another. Therefore, we should value what we can share, bring, and say (in any language) to each other because some of us still do not have the same rights as others, and therefore, some of us are still struggling harder than most of us. Also, some of us may still not understand, or even want to be bothered.

To each, his or her own. Just know that when the U.S. was formed in its entirety, a lot of blood was spilled, a lot of gold was stolen, and a lot of slaves and prisoners were abused in order to free its inhabitants and do justice to natives. Sure, history may reveal the character of others, but true healing helps us move on, so that we may grow into something newer and possibly better. And, though the system is not perfect here in the U.S., it comes close to it when it comes to helping our own and others, as long as we continue to listen, respect, and be open-minded towards ourselves and others.

We are billions strong! Let's make this planet a billion times stronger too!

National Health Concerns and Matters in the U.S.

Recently, I just finished writing an article on the topic of vaccines on Guardian Liberty Voice, an online media outlet based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. I know many people are tired of the controversy over vaccinating children, and most are even settled on expert opinion regarding the MMR vaccine and any possibility of its link to the sensitive topic of autism.

Well, my article, Vaccination Week and the Ever-Changing U.S. brings up the types of statistics often used, and the possibility of how experts can miss something so simple. For example, being an Urban Studies Sociologist who understands probability and correlation, I insist experts should not make general statements regarding case studies. To start, many of these studies, which are often used for peer-reviewed journals by universities and government agencies, use only a few hundred to a few thousand subjects that are then multiplied to speak for the general public. Not only that, the length of time per study is often short, often only taking place up to six months. For matters concerning babies, studies may be conducted sporadically for two to three years in an uncontrolled environment.

Part of my argument addressed in my article, though, relies on information taken from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and their recommendations and procedures. Is it possible that agencies such as the CDC and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), as well as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are allowing federally-funded scientists to dictate what U.S. citizens can consume, without question? Take for instance, the food pyramid. For years, these U.S. government agencies told their citizens the ideal diet for the average American consisted of a triangular type of serving sizes of various foods - mainly being mostly grains, then fruit, vegetables, and dairy, then meats, and then sugary substances. The U.S. Department of Education allowed schools to teach this to all students, and then looked the other way when the average school lunch consisted of pizza, hot dogs, french fries, and ketchup. The USDA even went so far as to consider ketchup a serving of vegetables, despite it having a substantial amount of sugar.

Now, in this day and age of technology, increasing opportunity, and online information, many citizens are taking the initiative to gather information themselves to decide what is best for them and their family. However, due to social media websites, everyone is voicing an opinion, and propaganda is being spread abundantly. People have to question what are reliable sources; although, most people still rely on government agencies to determine what is best for them, as well as prestigious universities and successful media networks, such as CNN, FOX, and ABC, for example. And why not? These institutions often have the most capital, or sustained resources!

As often happens between social classes, many of these institutions may miss something not often seen in their piece of the puzzle. To start, samples taken for case studies, though intended to be non-discriminatory, often only represent a particular area. Results are then calculated to determine a mean, range, and particular correlation, if any exist. However, these results are then multiplied to produce a probability, or likeliness of a result for the overall, national population.

Yes, it is a smart procedure, but often fails to address the uniqueness of certain individuals. In fact, it was not too long ago that these institutions finally reached out to inner-city residents in order to include more unique results. Even though, small amounts of subjects are still used to generalize for the entire population of the ever-growing U.S.

Although studies appear to take place among more various universities and local government agencies, and even broader medical institutions, it appears these biased generalizations still convince citizens of findings pertaining to health, nutrition, and even issues related to the environment. Most people are familiar with these results as that of Scientific-based research, but the truth is, it is all institutionalized results. When one breaks down such information, one will notice how environmental factors are often dismissed because such research is hard to conduct in uncontrolled areas. This represents a continual bias because real life takes place among cities, vehicles, nature and other types of surroundings, and not only in hospitals, laboratories, and classrooms.

To conclude, results of any science experiment or case study derived from one particular institution in one particular area which uses limited samples should not be used to generalize results for a national population, let alone a global one. Instead, regional results of an entire nation should be used to accumulate nation-wide data, which should then be used to calculate and obtain national results. Also, since most people experience stimuli both inside and outside themselves, so should Science. There are numerous factors which could contribute to disease, genetics, and overall human and environmental progress. For agencies, such as the CDC and FDA to limit their findings to particular case studies conducted in controlled environments, would produce results which do not accurately represent a national population; thereby leaving the probability of a margin of error to be unprecedented. And, this is the very reason why most people in the U.S. advocate their right to make their own health, safety and nutritional decisions, as was stated in my article mentioned above.

Thank you for tuning in and thinking as an individual!

Cowards

Over the years I have thought about the word coward and what it implies. Google explains it in their search bar as "a person who lacks courage in facing danger, difficulty, opposition, pain, etc.; a timid or easily intimidated person," according to Dictionary.com.

I have thought about this word because I have dealt with ways of cowardice. I do not welcome trouble, competition, or even argument if it involves disrespect, unkindness, or a longing disgrace between another and myself; certainly if some relationship was/is not meant to be, it was/is not meant to be. This to me is not necessarily being cowardly or causing avoidance, it is simply, reality.

In witnessing what being "cowardly" means, I admit I have judged others on what I would consider cowardly because I had originally figured they were otherwise confident. Of course, this judgment was and continues not to be intended as something harmful or vengeful, but instead, in wonder of said people.

An example would be those I figured could easily talk to me, but chose not to do so. Having experienced this as a trait myself, I understand the anguish in mustering up something to say at times; after all, one cannot be ON at all times. And, admittedly, a lot of chances were blown in being unable to say something to someone, which I may have later felt a sort of regret for not having done so.

In coming to realize this timidness I have carried since childhood, I often wondered why I was overly-observant and cautious:

  • It's part of My Sun Sign, Scorpio - admittedly, I have found being cautious to be a common trait of the astrological sign, Scorpio.
  • Being Asian - Over some  years, I have found a lot of people in my area consider Asian people more timid than other races, mostly those from Japanese culture - to which I have Japanese roots.
  • Rocky Childhood - As a child growing up in a dysfunctional family during the 1980s and 1990s, and being the baby of my family, I found myself alone and unsupported a lot. I had often yearned for companionship but was too shy to ask as a child. Part of this problem may have stemmed from early-childhood speech problems.
  • The Child Within - Psychology teaches an identification of the inner-child. Most of us often refer to this inner child as our "ego." The ego wants and takes as it pleases without thinking about consequences ... until consequences happen! I have not let some aspects go affiliated with my inner child, including timidity.
  • Zero to Low Confidence - Ok, STOP! "Confidence," let alone "self-confidence" is tricky to define. If one is confident all the time, one has nothing to worry about with regards to social situations, such as giving a speech, taking risks in business, or even implementing a plan. Yes, that is great if that is anyone who can do that! However, many cannot remain confident at all times, and some do not also lack self-confidence. When one speaks of "self-confidence," one can agree this has more to do with assurance of one's ability and/or acceptance of self.

I am beautiful! I know this! Not because I am in love with my looks but because I have been complemented many times, I do value my worth, and I instill a more loving attitude toward myself and others, at least more often than hate. However, when it comes to having confidence at all times, I will admit, I do not have confidence at ALL times! I am cautious and at times I can be a perfectionist, or simply, too observant. I cannot be all in when I feel I have a lot to risk, meaning I usually weigh benefits and risks before making a final decision. Perhaps this is due to my Virgo moon, which deals more conservative cards than freedom-loving ones, such as those often associated with my rising sign of Sagittarius.

Social Anxiety may be another factor which I may have not known about for a long duration of my life. I do not do well in large groups, but rather, exceed more in personal relationships and smaller groups. In fact, many of us thrive this way; though, capitalist society would have us think differently. The reason is because corporations are huge entities and appear overwhelming. It is a scientific fact, however, that most people perform better in groups of eight, or smaller so that face-to-face contact is more readily available, and not so overwhelming.

Though I may have overestimated the ability of some people to approach me and not act so cowardly, I must admit that I have also faced such anxiety levels and wrongful, egotistical expectations. At one point, I expected those I deemed confident to sweep me off my feet, as if a fantasy role in some modern-day fairytale. The more I figured out my wrongful expectations and assumptions, the more I figured how much of a coward I am, myself.

Until next time, "Seize The Day!" Or, each moment and opportunity.

It's Political, Obviously!

To all the hard-working, creative people out there, HOLLLLLLA! Seriously...

We are the people who help contribute to BRAND NEW THINGS- whether it be objects, art, ideas, or a brand new city, we help change and motivate the world! "Not always," some may think out loud! Some people don't want change, and that's okay because some of us are motivators while others like to kick back! That's fine! Either way, change is constant, and those who add color and creativity usually add something new! So, cheers to us who are motivated to add to our ever-changing world!

On my very own journey of creativity, I know I can stumble upon blocks! Emotions, stress, and mundane occurrences can happen which pushes creativity to the side; yet, I must persist! We must persist! However anyone persists, focus is key! What are we really focusing on? Some may say they want change, but are unwilling to change their own self- let alone change the world! So, each of us must grind each day while never forgetting what most of us are here to do- explore, think, bond, and LIVE!

On our way, we can add a little zest, annoyance, or deep-thought to that which we encounter. For, while we encounter today's world, we are stimulated by all sorts of things! I record this as a writer, after all! I observe constant motivations, and see how each of us have a choice to either go with the current flow, or resist most things! Some of us still insist on resisting... some of us don't care... while some of us flow and add something different- something unique! However any of us persist, we should not do it with violence, anger, frustration, and a closed-mind! Sure, some of us will shrug OFF this accurate observation, but limited thinking will get those in trouble, for they mostly seek violence and rebellion! As humanity has shown, this causes uproars and war- something most of us seek to avoid!

I have grown as a writer, and as a writer, I often bring information, insight, or inspiration... just to add a little zest to the day-to-day operations! In fact, most of us do this now! We join social media networks, and we post anything! Information appears infinite! Situations seemingly so, too! We are connected in ways not imagined before, and we got the technology to prove it! GO HUMANITY!

Music is life! I love music and wasn't even thinking about writing on it until I was approached to do so. For this, I will always be thankful! One cannot really describe the feeling of bringing the vibe of a party to life on paper, but nothing pleases a writer (or, artist) more than to be able to transfer these events, thoughts, and ideas to our physical world! Creativity is source, for sure!

With all that stated, I am pleased to introduce my first political article dealing with the U.S. response to Iraq, and how we are handling our very own politics! With an interest in how our world spins, other interests include how each country handles issues and responds to various changes. To be where we are today with all our technology, communication, and personal options, it really puts a new spin on our world- even if some of us are still not there yet!

So, go out and enjoy the world! Do not be afraid of being outside unless there is constant and unbearable violence and bickering--which, for that, I am sorry! Understand, it is in the humblest of places where one can truly find beauty... deep within one's heart!

Until the next writing session, thank you so much for reading my material, and JAH bless each heart! Take care, always!

Organizations

We're surrounded by them- different kinds with different procedures and tasks, and funded mostly by governments- particularly in the U.S.A. Organizations are the steel rods in the buildings of society! The earlier established, and depending upon a particular culture- maybe even race, the more cemented these organizations are in not only gaining support from loose ends, but also when it comes to instilling their own set of values in the fabric of society!

As a sociologist, I observe and interpret feedback from situations, observations, and information I gather on a daily, weekly, sometimes even yearly basis because guess what- it is telling of particular situations and habits of humanity! In observing a relationship between two people over time, for example, it is telling whether they have a strong connection, or weak one suitable for marriage... and even then, only time will tell! Also, when it comes to habits, one can observe whether an addiction is present, or a form of programming which stems from childhood, trauma, or possibly even a neurological disorder, like anxiety, OCD, or psychosis! In observing certain habits and statistics, one can trace the origin of such foundations, and apply it to numerous causes which can be considered either beneficial, or not!

Over years of my studies, I started to understand the foundation, purpose, and enormity that organizations held over people. For instance, the biggest organizations are governments and corporations! Without question, most people sense their impact upon arrival and first experience of the products and policies that have been, or are currently being instilled among populations! Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Disney, and Macintosh are multi-national corporations that are recognizable due to their enormity and impact! Different forms of government are recognized due to their history and policies upon a set of people who must adhere to them as citizens of a particular area! Organizations are everywhere- even among indigenous tribes who must use practices and methods to survive by way of strategies found through traditional values, methodical procedures, and nowadays, adaptation to a larger scene- particularly that of urbanization, and industrialization! Some groups of people still refuse to assimilate with other cultures, and are often known as "rebels" because instead of embracing unfamiliar cultures, they attack them; though, this is presumably a normal reaction (psychologically-speaking) to that which is unfamiliar and leads to fear! In fact, this reaction is the basis of how humanity came to organize, and was the cause of war among early groups of people! If a person is on the defensive side to something unfamiliar, or some form of change, then they are most likely to rebel and attack- like a vicious dog toward a stranger!

Nowadays, it appears the entire world is unifying to not only learn and embrace each other, and possibly one another's culture, but we are becoming more connected and accepting of differences, policies, and structures which benefit humanity. For example, democracy is a political system more countries are striving to implement due to the power it is supposed to give its citizens; however, like most political systems, there are flaws and disagreements, and what may benefit one group of a democracy may not benefit another, such as laws, balance of powers, and taxes. Some people may feel betrayed or limited by a law, feel powerless, and/or unable to pay taxes; therefore, they may not benefit from this type of system unless they decide to work, become a team-player, and participate in implementing laws by voting, or forming political movements! Although one system may not work for one group, or another, there are many ways to find a common basis, or agreement- particularly without referring to destructive powers, such as war, neglect, or rebellion.

With our world being vast and enormous, there are going to be some things which work for one particular group of people, and other things which won't work for them! Thus, what won't work for some people may lead to destructive, revolutionary reactions where some will feel the desire to strike back, and even attack! Although this can be due to the history and habits of a particular person, or people, it can be noted that in today's age, we have so many resources which can hinder, prevent, or change such destructive forces! For example, security agents, doctors, and people who choose to take precautions may try to prevent and stop a destructive source, or sources. They may even be considered heroes for doing so! Then, there are those who may consider dis-allowing someone to express free-will- often viewed as a human right- to be in violation of a particular system; though, most are likely to agree that in order to save a considerable amount of people from a pathway of destruction, some may need to stop, or prevent one or more people from causing harm to others!

Organizations have been the basis of forming groups to implement an idea, or movement. Even though a family is often the first structure of an organization, it is really how and what an organization stands for that determines its cause-and-effect. As a family, one learns to work with another, care and assist, and develop a personality based on what their family structure is teaching and providing them. Likewise, friendships instill familiarity, a sense of environment other than family, and even, development of personality since we often make friends while we are still young and impressionable! We get into more logical and structural organizations when we participate in a group that has more specific causes, like schools, interest groups, hospitals, and even farming! Agriculture is so enormous, for example, that it has taken humanity various ways to master the production and sustainability of it- even to this day! Once again, there are agreements, and disagreements on how farming should take place in order to provide for its people! Can you imagine how much it takes to ensure these methods do not fail; yet are safe for people to consume? It is all about strategy, recognizing past mistakes, and putting the necessary work in order to succeed- or, as far as we know through practice, procedure, and policy measures!

In the U.S.A. alone, there are so many political and social organizations, it is hard to keep track of the mission and reason why such organizations exist. Recently, over the course of a few days, I was able to witness how some of these organizations work- even religious ones! Once one recognizes the hypocrisy and ultimate goal of such organizations, one sees how these organizations stay afloat through the dedication of their supporters- not to mention the success of their implementation! For example, churches may have a shared history and value system, and may get support from their long-time rule over people's lives, but that doesn't mean they are doing humanity a favor- especially if one is supporting auctions of various luxuries to keep and gain support... for instance! Sure, the church may use the money they receive for their own people, agenda, and structures, but how are they helping the general public, fellow citizens, and other groups of people? Is this even on their agenda? Yes, churches and other organizations genuinely help others, and benefit society, but if we took the statistics of the far-reaching effects most of these organizations have on others, I believe we would be limited; otherwise, why else would we still have hunger, equality, and other major social issues like clean drinking water, health, and human rights- not to mention overall PEACE? Until we are given transparency of all organizations, we will be limited to various agendas that benefit a particular few, and thus, continue to waste valuable resources and opportunities!

Humanity has a social need to belong- even if one is restricted to a single family member, or friend. Nowadays, organizations are abundant, and one can find support for any issue involving an addiction, habit, or relation. Though humanity has built enormous organizations over eras and eras of living, the ones which have a strong, well-supported foundation are usally the ones left standing! We witness this with businesses and politicians, and yet, we accept it as the norm because we, ourselves, would have to organize in order to experience change. This was evident in the original Occupy Wall Street organization that hit so many groups of people in the U.S.A. There was a need to express the unfairness and inequality of banks verses consumers, and though there were many takes on why a disorganized organization existed and dismantled, it none-the-less showed a country- if not the world- what groups of people were capable of bringing attention to in the form of standing up, and causing a movement with one another. Now, as we tune into what is currently happening all around us, we still witness major foundations remaining intact, with some still taking as they please verses instilling what others are striving to change, and stand up for! What we can take from them, though, is that each piece of society has started with a movement which became a solid organization through the support, dedication, shared values, and people whom were willing to remain supportive of one another despite all odds... because as evident as it has been shown over time, these organizations are the ones most likely to succeed, and stay! Without the appropriate resources, shared values and firm support, foundations are most-likely to dry out unless they are bailed out! Thus, we must choose wisely!
